A HUGE ‘THANK YOU’ to everyone who has donated to the various fundraising events here at Pontesbury CE Primary School – your support is really appreciated!

Here is an update on how your donations will be used:

• Earlier this year our fantastic FOPPS (Friends of Pontesbury CE Primary School) team of volunteer parents and staff (who organise various fundraising events through the year) managed to raise enough money for us to be able to purchase this amazing new portable PA and microphone system which we have now received ready for use in school: 
• Another big ‘thank you’ also to the 29 families and Governors who sponsored Mr Langford on his 50-mile Longmynd Hike earlier this month – you know who you are!  Between them they managed to raise £216 – wow!  Mr Langford was really touched by your generous support and has decided to use the monies raised towards some much-needed updating of the Early Years and KS1 outdoor learning areas.  It’s not too late if you’d still like to sponsor him, the various donation payments will be available in the School Money shop for a little while longer.  

All donations, whether big or small, are always so appreciated, they really do make a difference and allow us to keep improving our school facilities and equipment for the benefit of your children.  We think your support is amazing!  Thank you.
