Weduc app will be updated in the Easter holidays to be called ‘Reach More Parents’
New Reach More Parents App is coming!
Weduc has redesigned the App for Reach More Parents with major enhancements to the layout, accessibility, and general ease of use.
What do I need to do as a parent? If your phone has automatic updates turned on, there is nothing you need to do, as the app will update automatically on 03/04/2023. If you do not have automatic updates turned on, you will need to re-download the app from the App Store if you have an iPhone or the Google Play Store if you have an Android.
Can I still access the same features? Yes. The features you already use such as Newsfeed, Absence Reporting and Messaging are still accessible.
What’s new? You can find a PDF document attached which will give you a detailed breakdown of everything that has changed in the app.
Year 6 Leavers Hoodies now available for purchase
Ordering a Leavers Hoody Instructions:
As per Mrs Andrew’s Weduc post with picture of the design and pdf colour chart attached – a year 6 ‘Leavers Hoody’ is now available to buy in the ‘Offers’ section of Weduc. Please order by Wednesday 29th March.
To order one, please click on the ‘Leavers Hoody’ offer (in the Weduc app), add it to your basket, and then as you go through the payment pages, you will be asked what size and colour you wish to purchase before completing the payment.
If you would like to buy a second hoody in a different colour for your year 6 child, please contact the office and we will add you to the separate ‘Second Leavers Hoody’ payment (the ordering process is exactly the same as for the first hoody).

Class photos (and leavers/Reception graduation) photos are coming home today!
The Academy Photography class photos, year 6 Leavers photos and Reception graduation photos have arrived and will be sent home today.
You can either order and pay online, or return the proof with cheque/cash payment to school by Monday 27th March.
(Late orders will need to be made online only with an additional postage charge required).
Year 1 teaching
Dear Parents/Carers,
The staffing in Year 1 will change slightly after Easter. Ms Vincent will now teach Monday – Friday with the exception of Wednesdays where Mrs Davies will teach the class for the day. Mrs Cherrington, Miss Thomas and Mrs Oldham will also remain with the class.
We wish to thank Mrs Manna for all that she has done at Pontesbury. She has been a big part of the school during her time here and will be missed by all. We hope to see her again soon.

For Red Nose Day on Friday, we would like pupils to come in non-uniform and style their hair in a ‘whacky’ way.
We suggest a donation of £1 which can be paid on Weduc (offers).

UPDATE – Year 3 & 4 class visit to Birmingham on Wednesday 15th March – later arrival back at school
The staff and children will not be leaving Birmingham until 2.30pm, so will arrive back at Pontesbury CE Primary School at the slightly later time of 3.50pm – please arrange to collect your child at this later finishing time. Thank you.
