Girls Football after-school club restarts next half term
Mr Langford will be restarting the KS2 Girls Football after-school club next half term. It will run on Thursdays from 3.15-4.15pm over on Mary Webb’s astro turf pitch (so please collect your child from the astro turf pitch, not Pontesbury CE Primary School). There are 20 spaces available. Bookings will open on the School Money website at 12 noon on Wednesday 22nd May. Cost: £1 for the half term.
At present, the club will run on the following dates:
- Thursday 6th June
- Thursday 13th June
- Thursday 20th June
- Thursday 27th June
- Thursday 4th July is cancelled (tbc)
- Thursday 11th July (final session)
- Thursday 18th July is cancelled
Important note: This club will only run when Mr Langford is available and may have to be cancelled at short notice. Parents are to collect their child from Mary Webb’s astro turf pitch.
Boys Football after-school club is CANCELLED this Friday 12th April
Apologies, but Boys Football after-school club is not running this Friday 12th April. Please either collect your child from church after the Easter service (at approx 2.45pm) or from school at 3.15pm. Apologies for any inconvenience.
Netball/High 5 is CANCELLED this Friday 12th April
Please note – Netball/High 5 is cancelled this Friday 12th April.
As the Easter service is at the church that afternoon, you may collect your child direct from church when the service ends (approx 2.45pm), or from school at 3.15pm.
At present, all other clubs will be running as normal after school on Friday.
Boys Football after-school club – important notice for the Summer Term
Mr Langford has decided to change this club to a more targeted ‘Boys Football Squad Training’ club and will only be open to invited pupils. Thus, ‘Boys Football after-school club will end at Easter, with the final session running on Friday 12th April.
If your child would like to continue with a football after-school club, Multisports run their football after-school club from 3.15-4.15pm every Monday. There is, however, a termly charge for this club – for the Summer term 2019 it will be £20 (10 sessions running from 29th April through to 15th July).
There are also four other clubs that will run on a Friday after school during the Summer term: Crossbar Multisports, Netball (High 5), Morris Dancing and Gardening Club.

Please note the club will be running as indicated below:
- Friday 29th March – running as normal
- Friday 5th April – club CANCELLED due to Rea Valley football fixture;
- Friday 12th April – running as normal

Boys Football after-school club CANCELLED this Friday 22nd March
There will be no Boys Football after-school club this Friday (22nd March) as Mr Langford is off-site with the chosen football team at a Rea Valley Schools Football League fixture at Minsterley.
The club will resume on Friday 29th March as normal.
Clubs CANCELLED week commencing Monday 11th March
Just a reminder that the following clubs will not be running week commencing Monday 11th March as staff are involved in the two parents evenings that week;
- Dance Club with Mrs Hilditch is cancelled on Monday 11th March;
- KS2 Craft Club with Mrs R Davies is cancelled on Wednesday 13th March.

As previously advertised, the following clubs are cancelled this Friday 8th March as Mr Langford and Mrs Rowe are off-site at the year 4 & 5 Merridale visit:

as Mr Langford and Mrs Rowe are out all day until 4.15pm with the Year 4’s & 5’s on their Merridale class visit. Please make arrangements to collect your child at 3.15pm on that day. Thank you.
