Whacky Hair – Red Nose Day

‘Whacky Hair’ – Red Nose Day

For Red Nose Day on Friday, we would like pupils to come in non-uniform and style their hair in a ‘whacky’ way.

We suggest a donation of £1 which can be paid on Weduc (offers).

Please see the pictures below for whacky hair ideas…no pressure intended!

Grapes – a potential choking hazard

Grapes are a good healthy fruit snack but if you include grapes in your child’s packed lunch, please remember to always cut them lengthwise first.

Pin on Babies

Please note: our School Catering Staff are all very vigilant and so all grapes served at school (e.g. in our fruit salad) are always cut lengthwise to prevent a choking hazard.

If you would like further information on how to help a child that is choking on an object, please click the link to see the NHS guidance:  https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/helping-choking-baby/

Although the medical advice is generally for children under the age of five, it can still be a choking hazard for all.  Grapes differ quite considerably in size and are always worth cutting up before consuming.
