We have a NATIONAL CHAMPION at Pontesbury – Sennen Brown!
Sennen achieved 1st place in the children’s support mountain biking race at the National Champs 2019.
He has also has raced across the Midlands and Wales over the past 2 years competing in the under 8 age category. He’s taken a number of wins and numerous podiums in Mountain Bike and Cyclo X at both regional and national level.
Some of his highlights include 3rd in the Welsh Circuit Championship, 2nd in The Queen Victoria Cyclocross and This month Sennen is hoping to claim 2nd in the Welsh Mountain Bike Series while stepping up to the challenge of racing in the Midlands under 10’s Cyclo Cross Series that kicks off in Shrewsbury this Sunday!
Mum says, ‘He’s been a very busy boy! He lives and breathes cycling and is so hardworking and determined to do well. We’re very proud of him. It’s brilliant that he’s been able to share this achievement with school, thank you.’
All at Pontesbury are immensely proud of Sennen. He is an inspiration to all and we cannot wait to celebrate his future successes.
